Iranian pro-government Basij militia disperse crowds in Tehran demonstrating on the 10th anniversary of a 1999 student uprising that, at the time, posed the biggest threat to the Islamic regime since 1979. Iran has been rocked by a series of popular protests that followed the June 12 disputed presidential election.
